Yoga With Miranda

Finding freedom and fluidity of movement

Miranda also offers both 1-1 in person and online Yoga and Flexibility coaching. She believes that, just as the body can benefit from movement, the mind can benefit from stillness. Yoga and flexibility training can offer us both by using breathing techniques as a point of focus to calm the nervous system, to find comfort in discomfort and learn how to achieve stillness and clarity of mind. Not to mention the physical benefits of releasing muscular tension, alleviating joint pain, improving posture and moving the body with unrestricted ease and grace. 

For Miranda, Yoga completely changed her approach to fitness and to life. After a decade of weight training and experiencing mental and physical burnout, Miranda began practising Yoga to alleviate anxiety as well as to aid muscular aches and pains. She became fascinated by the positive effects of the practise on her body and mind and in 2020 completed a 200hour Yoga Teacher Training. Since 2020, Miranda has begun exploring other methods of flexibility training including contortion, in order to grasp a deeper understanding of the body and it's potential. 

Miranda says:

"Since beginning my Yoga journey and quest for flexibility, my movement practises across the board have drastically improved. I feel, not only stronger, faster and more mobile, but I am also more capable of carrying out day to day tasks without restriction and without the aches and pains that had begun to ail me.  My body feels younger today than it did a decade ago, and this has helped me to see huge differences even my athletic performance and my results from it. Yoga has not only deepened my connection to and mastery of my body, but also of my mind, freeing me from the stress and anxiety so commonly plagues the modern world. I can't wait to share my passion with you!"
