Overnight Oats 5 ways



Strawberry Cheesecake


INGREDIENTS


· 1 ½ tbsp Greek Yoghurt

· 1 pack plain Quaker instant oats (27g)

· ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

· 1 tbsp chia seed

· ½ tsp vanilla extract

· 1 tsp honey/ agave

· 1 cup strawberries

· 2 tbsp low fat cream cheese

· 1 tbsp crushed walnuts




RECIPE:

- Blend most of the strawberries (leave some to top the jar at the end) with almond milk, greek yoghurt, cream cheese, honey and vanilla extract.

- In a glass or mason jar, mix in the oats, walnuts and chia seeds. Top it with the leftover strawberries.

- Put the mix into containers and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy it in the morning.


Tropical Fruits


INGREDIENTS:

· 1 ½ tbsp Greek Yoghurt

· 1 pack plain Quaker instant oats

· ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

· 1 tbsp chia seed

· ½ tsp vanilla extract

· 1 tsp honey/agave

· 1/3 cup pineapple

· 1/3 cup peach or mango

· ½ a banana

· 1 tsp desiccated coconut

· 1 tsp blueberries (optional)






RECIPE:

- Blend the fruit (except the banana) with the almond milk, coconut flakes, greek yoghurt, honey and vanilla extract.

- Mix it in a glass/mason jar with the oats and chia seeds.

- Refrigerate overnight ready to serve in the morning.


Chocolate Pudding



INGREDIENTS:

· 1 ½ tbsp Greek Yoghurt

· 1 pack plain Quaker instant oats

· ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

· 1 tbsp chia seed

· ½ tsp vanilla extract

· 2 tsp honey or agave

· ½ banana chopped (optional)

· 1 cube 80-90% dark chocolate cut into small chunks or dark chocolate chips

· 1 tsp cocoa powder (or 1 scoop chocolate protein powder if preferred)

· Optional: 1 tsp peanut butter













RECIPE:

· Blend the greek yoghurt, cocoa powder or chocolate protein, milk, vanilla, honey/agave together. If you choose to add peanut butter and banana also blend these ingredients at this stage (save some chunks of banana for topping).

· Mix in the remaining ingredients (oats, chia seeds).

· Sprinkle the dark chocolate over the top and refrigerate overnight ready for breakfast.


Apple and Cinnamon



INGREDIENTS:

· 1 ½ tbsp Greek Yoghurt

· 1 pack plain Quaker instant oats (27g)

· ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

· 1 tbsp chia seed

· ½ tsp vanilla extract

· 1 tsp honey or agave

· 1 green apple (with the skin)

· 2 tsp cinnamon














RECIPE:

- Cut the apples into chunks and blend with the greek yoghurt, honey, milk, vanilla and cinnamon

- Mix in the oats and chia seeds.

- Refrigerate overnight. Bobs your uncle!


Fig and Pistachio



INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 1 sachet Quaker instant oats (27g)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 fresh figs

  • 2 tbsps dried cranberries

  • 4 tbsp pistachios

  • 1 tbsp honey














RECIPE

  • Incorporate oats to the jar/glass. Add the vanilla extract and then pour in the milk. Add the cinnamon and half of the cranberries, then give everything a stir.

  • Cut the figs into wedges and place on top.

  • Refrigerate overnight. Once set, add the pistachios and the remaining cranberries to the top. Drizzle with a little honey, then serve.
